All sessions at Seventh House Counseling happen online through secure, HIPAA-compliant video. There’s no commute, no waiting room, and no app to download. You join from a link in your client portal, from wherever you feel most comfortable.

Who can join

I’m licensed in Georgia, so you need to be physically located in Georgia at the time of every session. That includes people who live elsewhere but are in Georgia for school or work. If you’ll be traveling out of state, we’ll plan around it.

What you’ll need

  • A private, quiet space where you won’t be overheard
  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
  • A reliable internet connection
  • Headphones, if others are nearby

Is online therapy effective?

For many people and many concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, research shows video therapy works about as well as meeting in person. Many clients find it easier to open up from their own space, and easier to stay consistent when sessions fit into their day.

Your privacy

Sessions run on a platform designed for healthcare privacy, and nothing is recorded. Intake forms, scheduling, and payments all happen in the same secure client portal. This website itself never collects health information.

When online therapy isn’t the right fit

Telehealth works well for most people, but it isn’t right for everyone. If you need a higher level of care, such as frequent crisis support or intensive treatment, I’ll help you find resources that can offer that.
