Every relationship hits seasons of strain. Maybe the same argument keeps circling back, maybe you’ve drifted into feeling more like roommates, or maybe something has broken trust and you’re not sure how to repair it. Couples therapy gives you both a structured, neutral space to slow things down and really hear each other.

Couples often come to me for

  • Communication that turns into conflict, or shuts down entirely
  • Recurring arguments that never get resolved
  • Rebuilding trust after a breach
  • Navigating big transitions: moving in, marriage, parenthood, career changes
  • Premarital counseling and preparing for commitment
  • Feeling disconnected emotionally or physically

How I work with couples

I don’t take sides. My client is the relationship, and my job is to help each of you feel safe enough to be honest. Drawing on DBT’s interpersonal and emotion-regulation skills, we’ll work on noticing escalation before it takes over, expressing needs clearly, validating each other’s experience, and repairing after hard moments.

I’m an LGBTQ+-affirming therapist and welcome couples of all identities and relationship structures.

Online couples sessions

Sessions are 55 minutes by secure video. You can join together from the same room or from two locations, as long as you’re both in Georgia. Many couples find meeting from home makes it easier to schedule and to speak openly.

Adding astrology

Some couples enjoy exploring their relationship through synastry, comparing two birth charts. Used thoughtfully, it can spark curious, non-blaming conversations about differences in how you each love, communicate, and need space. Learn about astrology-informed therapy.
